Large Fans: • Largest fans of 34 Ft. Diameter in cooling towers in India were at Neyveli Lignite Corporation,(NLC) Neyveli at Thermal Power Station-I during the 1980s.These fans were driven by 325 HP HT motors. The original fans supplied by a French Company (Neu France) had stainless steel blades.
